Treble Group secures Landrover as an official associate partner, and exclusive vehicle partner to the DHL Stormers and DHL WP

Treble Group has brought innovative thinking into the cluttered domestic rugby sponsorship market. Rather than seek 3 individual sponsors for the team jersey (which is the industry practice), Treble helped WP Rugby to rationalize and consolidate their Associate Sponsorship Programme. The aim was to secure 1 major commercial partner, rather than 3 smaller partners, and thus provide a major platform for the Associate Partner.

In this regard, Land Rover has come on board as the Official Associate and Exclusive Motor Vehicle Partner to DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province. As a result only DHL, Land Rover and Adidas will receive branding on the team apparel. Further the, WP Rugby executive, players and management will be able to build much stronger and deeper relationships with a smaller number of key partners.

The rugby season is long, and access to players and management is always an issue in sponsorships. However it is vital for players and management to bring the association and passion of the sponsorship alive beyond just match day. As a result, with a smaller number of tier1 sponsors, the ability to deliver on these demands is improved significantly.

Additionally this is a great achievement, with exciting times ahead, as DHL and Land Rover are both major sponsors of Rugby World Cup 2015, and also major sponsors of DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province.

Treble activates the DHL WP Currie Cup Final 2013

The Treble Group alongside DHL and WP Rugby helped plan the first Currie Cup HOME final in 12 years!! This match saw reigning champs DHL WP take on The Sharks at DHL Newlands.

Leading up to the final match Treble Group and DHL created huge hype by delivering the Giant DHL WP flag, Currie Cup samoosas, DHL WP flags and Goodluck banners to Cape Town station. Hundreds of DHL WP supporters received the opportunity to write down their messages of support for the team.

The day before the final, Treble Group, DHL and WP Rugby surprised a few radio stations in Cape Town with a special delivery by none other than the beautiful DHL Dancers.

Game day saw thousands of DHL WP faithful come out in full force to support their boys in blue. The crowds were welcomed by the colourful DHL Minstrels entertaining the crowd throughout the streets of Newlands. Accompanying the energetic atmosphere were mass DHL promo handouts in and around the stadium

Fireworks, minstrels, Johnny Clegg and of course the beautiful DHL Dancers were all present to bring some awesome entertainment to a sold out crowd. Exciting activations organized by Treble Group included a giant DHL WP flag floating across the stadium, the DHL dancers delivered onto the field by DHL vans the DHL Delivery Run, 100’s Bar and not forgetting the old favourites Castle Lawns and Club Newlands Lounge.

Treble Group proudly manages the running of all bar and food vendors at the DHL Newlands Rugby Stadium. We have successfully provided new and improved food and beverage options to ensure efficient and quality service options to all game goers.

Rugby season kicks off at the DHL Newlands Stadium

The Treble team after months of planning helped DHL and WP Rugby kick off the Super Rugby home leg with a bang at the DHL Newlands Rugby stadium in a game between the DHL Stormers and the Chiefs.

DHL Stormers supporters were welcomed to the stadium by the colourful DHL Minstrels entertaining the crowd. Accompanying the energetic atmosphere were mass DHL promo handouts in and around the stadium.

Fireworks lit the DHL Newlands Rugby stadium as the DHL Stormers erupted onto the field. Other exciting activations organised by Treble included a new giant DHL flag in the stadium, a plane flyover and the vivacious DHL cheerleaders delivered onto the field by DHL vans.
