Another Club Newlands Kick Off Party tackled, bring on the Super Rugby season!

There was no better way to kick off the 2016 Super Rugby season than at the Club Newlands Kick Off Party at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on Tuesday, 16 February 2016.

The aim of the Club Newlands Kick Off Party is to afford valued sponsors and Faithful supporters front row seats to the official public unveiling of the Super Rugby DHL Stormers squad, while enjoying live entertainment and great giveaways.

The crowd of excited supporters at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre thoroughly enjoyed the experience to meet, greet and wish the DHL Stormers team well for the upcoming season. This could not have been done without the support of our official sponsors: WP Rugby, DHL, Land Rover, Adidas, BrighRock, Castle Lager, Tsogo Sun, Momentum, Oude Molen Distilleries, Powerade, Cell C, Ola, The Entertainer, PostNet, Deep Heat and our media partner Bok Radio.

Treble ready to bring the Storm to V&A Waterfront

The Treble team is ready to party up a storm with the DHL Stormers at the annual Club Newlands Kick-Off Party.

On Tuesday 16 February 2016, Club Newlands and DHL will present the DHL Stormers squad for the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby season, to the public.

The event is set to take place at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre where supporters, and sponsors, will be the first to witness the official public unveiling of the 2016 squad, enjoy an array of live entertainment and great giveaways.

Treble activates the Club Newlands Kick Off Party

We’ve tackled the start of the season head on and scored!

There’s no better way to kick off the 2015 Super Rugby season than at the Club Newlands Kick Off Party. Fans came out in numbers to the Brackenfell Sports Complex and were first in line to witness the unveiling of the 2015 DHL Stormers team!

We were not only graced with the DHL Stormers presence but also had the privilege of enjoying the soulful sounds of Jimmy Nevis en Desmond Wells se lekker treffers.

A big thank you to all the fans who came out to wish the squad well for the upcoming season. To all our sponsors – DHL, Land Rover, Adidas, Momentum, SAB, Caledon, Huawei, Oude Molen, Powerade, Spur, Ola, The Entertainer, Postnet, Cell C and Bok Radio – we could not have done it without you! Last but not least, thank you to our MC, Carl Wastie, for keeping the crowd and the players entertained with your comedic banter.

Treble and Club Newlands Kick Off the Super Rugby Season

In what has become one of the highlights of the Club Newlands calendar, Eaglevlei Wine Estate in Paarl played host to the 2014 Kick Off Party on Monday, 10 February 2014.

The evening gave DHL Stormers coach Allister Coetzee the opportunity to introduce his squad to the hundreds of fans in attendance as his team look forward to an exciting campaign ahead. 35 players were given their first official DHL Stormers jersey of the season by team captain Jean De Villiers and vice-captain Schalk Burger. The team, who kick off the season in Johannesburg against the Lions at Ellis Park, also took some time out to sign autographs and to thank the fans for their continued support throughout what will undoubtedly be a difficult campaign.

The night itself was enjoyed by all, with Bokradio guest DJ’s Scarra Ntubeni and Rynhardt Elstadt broadcasting live from the event and of course the Amazink cast who kept everyone entertained with their amazing musical performance
