Treble turns on Absa Boktown activations for Springboks test matches

Saturday 11 July (SA vs WorldXV) and 25 July (SA v NZ), Bok supporters came out in their numbers to enjoy all the FANtastic action at the Absa Boktown fan parks all around the country.

Absa Boktown, brought to you by the Springbok Supporters Club, is the home of all the loyal Springbok supporters. It’s the best place to be if you can’t be at the game. It’s a place where rugby fans gather to cheer on their team, feel the gees, enjoy live entertainment, great giveaways, and unite and back our Bokke.

The Treble team has turned on Absa Boktown activations at the following venues:

  • Montecasino in Johannesburg
  • Silverstar Casino in Johannesburg
  • Suncoast Casino in Durban
  • Barnyard Willowbridge in Cape Town

Treble activates the Club Newland Coaching Clinic 2015

The Club Newlands Coaching Clinic 2015 kicked off on Wednesday 1 July, until Friday 3 July. Our programme is aimed at helping to shape the future of rugby here in the Western Cape. It was an incredible 3 days and the future rugby stars loved every minute of it.

The Club Newlands Coaching Clinic guided the kids through basic rugby skills, informed them about injury prevention and provided fun and entertainment during the school holiday period.

The Club Newlands team extended an invitation to 10 kids from the Durbanville Children’s Home; who provide a safe haven for children and help to protect them from physical and emotional abuse. The kids soaked up the opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed playing rugby, learning new skills and making new friends.

All 140 kids tried and tackled the 3 days head on and completed the Club Newlands Coaching Clinic with flying colours. Congratulations to our talented young rugby stars.

A special thank you to Cheslin Kolbe and Jurie Van Vuuren for joining us at the award ceremony on the final day of our Coaching Clinic. You were truly the cherry on top of an amazing experience for the kids.

Treble activates top notch Springboks Supporters Club and SA Rugby Legends Golf Day

The Springbok Supporters Club and SA Rugby Legends hosted their annual exclusive golf day at the prestigious Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg on Thursday, 23 July 2015.

The SA Rugby Legends Association is made up of past Springbok Rugby players, and other hard-working individuals, who have contributed and supported rugby from the side of the field. The goal of the non-profit organization is to develop rugby at a grassroots level and support the needs and interests of the Legends.

The aim of the golf day is to appreciate and highlight the legendary work the rugby legends have done on and off the field. The gentlemen are now dedicated to giving back to their communities and to the youth of our country.

17 South African Rugby Legends; Jannie de Beer, Owen Nkumane, Wim Visser, Hugh Bladen and Gerrie Germishuys, to name a few, joined the Springboks Supporters Club, and their valued sponsors and partners for a round of golf as well as a braai buffet and prize giving.

Treble and the official Springbok Supporters Club, are honoured to be affiliated with such a magnificent organization like the SA Rugby Legends Association and we trust that that each legend had an exceptional experience.
